Cameo

Back in Victorian times, it seems as
though cameos, brooches, buttons, pins
and untold other decorations were a part of
every woman's trousseau, no matter what
her social standing was. In fact, the more
they wore, the lower their social standing
as the rich did not need to flaunt it. As I
was thinking about this, I started drawing
the design you see here on a goose
eggshell, in an effort to abstractly create a
cameo and other adornments on the lace
bodice of a Victorian dress. I leave the
adornments for you to create in your
imagination as you view the egg.
