Butterflies (Front)

The basic design for this egg came
from a sweet friend who said she cut it into
an egg 40 years ago with a Dremel tool
and has no idea to whom credit is due. I
adapted and changed it a bit and rather
than putting it around the middle girth of
the egg, I did it at an angle. It's a string of
butterflies starting with a large one in the
foreground and each succeeding butterfly
gets smaller and smaller as they get farther
away. The angle gives it more of a flair
than simply going around the middle of the
