I'm not sure there's a whole lot I can
say about this egg. It actually started out as
an interesting experiment for me because it
was done by applying wax in a Celtc design
on the shell using a traditional tool of
Pysanky artists called a "kistka." I had one
heck of a time applying the wax evenly as
using a kistka requires a good bit of
practice. I'm a uniquely patient carver, but I
have no time for patience with other things,
so I forged ahead. Once the wax was on, I
filled the shell with sand to weight it down,
plugging the hole with wax. Then I dropped
it into hydrochloric acid for one minute,
then another. The design, then, is the
original thickness of the goose egg, but the
whole rest of the shell is very thin.
