I'm a patriot, and what better way to
show it than with a carving of an
eagle, an eagle that really comes alive
with the various natural color layers of
the emu shell. I didn't even think
about how much of the thin white
layer I would be exposing before I got
started. It's a chore, but the results are
stunning and this eagle looks as
though he shouldn't be messed with.
